Reading the website
The site’s own code does not create reader accounts, include advertising trackers or send analytics events. Images, styles and scripts are requested from this website. Like any website request, access may expose technical information to the hosting infrastructure, including an IP address, request time, requested file, browser information and referrer information where supplied.
Hosting providers may process access or security logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. This static site does not set a specific retention period for infrastructure logs; retention depends on the hosting service’s configuration and applicable requirements. We do not claim that a website visit is anonymous.
The local message tool
Typing into the contact tool does not submit your entries to a server. JavaScript constructs a plain-text draft in the current page. The tool does not intentionally store its fields in cookies or localStorage. Browser autofill or session restoration may still operate according to your browser settings.
Copying a draft places it on your device’s clipboard with your action. Downloading creates a text file on your device. Other apps, clipboard history or shared-device users may be able to access these copies. You control whether to keep, share or delete them.
Email correspondence
If you send an email, your address, message, attachments and associated email metadata are handled by the receiving email service and used to read, respond to or investigate your request. Do not send sensitive health information or confidential third-party material. We do not use correspondence to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.
Correspondence is kept as needed to handle the inquiry, maintain a necessary correction record or meet legal obligations, and should be deleted when no longer needed. A fixed deletion deadline is not promised. Where relevant law requires a lawful basis, responding to requested correspondence and maintaining site accuracy may rely on legitimate interests; legal requirements may justify necessary retention.
Your choices and rights
You can read without using the contact tool, avoid sending an email and clear downloaded or copied drafts yourself. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to complain to a relevant data protection authority. Contact us with enough detail to identify the relevant correspondence; do not send identity documents unless a proportionate verification step is requested.
External links and changes
Opening a research link connects you to another service, which may receive technical request information. We do not control its practices. If this site adds data collection or changes its tools, this notice should be updated to describe the changed practice. See also our Cookies notice.
